The Youth Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai aims to encourage and engage young people in various programs and events organized by the Federal Youth Foundation and the Arab Youth Center. Its aim is to showcase the Emirati model and highlight human capabilities and achievements. The idea was sparked by a speech delivered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, during the Future Generations Forum. In his speech, he stressed that visitors to the Expo should experience the story of human achievement, not just structures.
XYZ was responsible for providing a flexible audiovisual solution for the pavilion that could effectively display various types of content. They provided a large video wall with twenty-four screens arranged in a 4 x 6 grid, as well as a curved LED display that could be converted into a versatile conferencing system with the simple push of a button. The circular stage allowed speakers to effectively present their ideas and be seen from anywhere in the world thanks to the two IP cameras set up. Additionally, a high-quality audio system surrounding the stage ensured that attendees in the room could hear the audio clearly.
XYZ ‘s contribution was instrumental in providing visitors with an immersive audiovisual experience. In particular, the video wall and LED curved display added an element of interactivity and versatility to the pavilion, allowing organizers to tailor their presentations to the needs of the audience. The audio system ensured that attendees could hear the sound clearly, making the presentations more engaging and impactful. With this audiovisual setup, the pavilion was able to provide visitors with a unique and captivating experience that left a lasting impression on them.
Six 86-inch screens and a projector were installed on the wall surrounding the area to provide visitors with information. In addition, outdoor monitors were placed at both entrances to display details about upcoming events and their times.
The ground and second floor of the building featured upscale meeting rooms where staff could hold discussions about the UAE’s strong youth initiatives and share innovative ideas.
